This is not true anymore since  summer 2007: Both the original SL client and the OnRez client work well on a Piii-550 PC with TNT2 graphics card (32 MB Ram.) 

Especially the graphics performance with your OnRez client is MUCH better than that of the original SL viewer, IMHO</description>

					<description>I think OnRez has done a great job thinking through the the menus and making OnRez a very user-friendly viewer. Yesterday when I was using it, though, I noticed OnRez has the same problem as Linden viewers of depositing avatar attachments in embarrassing places during teleport. Were you aware that the Nicholaz version of the SL viewer may have solved that problem? It might be worth collaborating with them to improve the code in the OnRez viewer.
