Tutorial: Splitting Profits for Charitable Donations
Last Month The Relay for Life - Clothing Fair was held in Second Life. Many Clothing Designers participated by either donating their profits from the fair to the charity or offering an exclusive design with those profits donated.
Many of our merchants may not be aware of the advantages of Spilt Profits for such charitable events, so I thought I would provide a little information on this Feature and how it can be utilized.
I’ve added a tutorial to our Knowledge Base, which is located [here]. It will take you step by step through the process of setting up Spilt Profits.
In the event you’d wish to enable your sales to donate all profits or a percentage of the sale, the Split Profit Feature can be easily implemented to do so on any or all of your listings.

Hi Nimrod - We don’t have anything right now, but I will suggest it as a feature to our development team.
I would recommend making note of it in your Item description - in the first line and accentuate it - until a better option is available.

aww yes I would also wish this feature very much, would be wonderful to support this way and “get something back” with getting a banner or so to show it is split up for a charity purpose! Hope this comes :)

Thanx for the Info. right now Second Life Cheerleading Networks is Suppoting the “N.A.M.I. Walk” charity. We have designed a Custom cheer uniform for them and are selling them IN-GAME and will now be putting the Unfiorm for sale here at ONREZ.
I think the idea of perhaps Featuring or setting up a seperate Product Description area for Designers who Support Real Life Charities in SL with Sales and Custom designs would be a step in the Right Direction.
In the Real World most Gov’t give a Tax break to thoes who Donate to charities, perhaps in the Virtual World ONREZ could do the same in the form of 1 week Free “FEATURE LISTING”
