Withdrawal Issues

We’ve been receiving a increased number of support requests for incomplete Withdrawals. Most likely caused by the instability of the Second Life Grid.

LL Reports Transaction Issues

If you have filed a support ticket for any sort of missing transactions with OnRez (Withdrawls/Deposits/Deliveries) Please be advised that Linden Lab strongly recommends that you do no conduct any in world purchases or transfers.

Featured Listings - Update

Hi All! We received some reports last week of issues renewing subscriptions in our Featured Listings and I am happy to report that we have squashed the bugs that were causing the troubles.

If you were having an issue manually renewing a Featured Listing Subscription - you should find things are working now. To renew your subscriptions - Logon to Shop.OnRez.com> Goto http://shop.onrez.com/user/featuredListings/ and select Renew under the Actions column.

Setting up a Shop.OnRez!

If you are a merchant looking to expand your shop then stop by OnRez Island and find out about our Free Merchant Services.
On Thursdays from 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm SLT we will be holding introductory classes to selling on Shop.Onrez.

This sessions will cover:
- Registering for an Account
- Setting up and loading a Dropbox
- Editing your Item Listings
- Promoting your Shop.OnRez Storefront

Registering for an account at Shop.OnRez before hand is advised but not required and you will be provided all the items needed to get started. We do recommend that you bring at least one item to be listed in your Storefront.

Image Upload Issues on Shop

This morning we experienced an outtage on the server in which all of Shop.OnRez’s Images are loaded and stored. This may have caused you some troubles if you were uploading any images to your listings.

The issue is now resolved, but you may need to go back and upload your images again.

Rolling Restart and Shop OnRez

The recent rolling restart has affected a number of Second Life functions that are relevant to Shop OnRez.

  • llEscapeURL no longer escapes all characters correctly. In particular, if you have a ‘&’ or ‘+’ in your item name, the information will not be submitted properly to Shop. Likewise, if you have those characters in your vendor pack names, your vendor may not load the pack correctly. Purchases of items already listed on Shop with these characters will still work! There is a JIRA ticket open about this issue and we hope it will be resolved soon.
  • Object names are now limited to 63 characters and object descriptions are limited to 127 characters. (link)
