Transaction History Now Available as CSV

I am happy to announce that we received a small update to Shop today and as a result you can now download your Transaction History in CSV Format!

Navigate to My Home>  Transactions> Full Transaction History

Tutorial: Splitting Profits for Charitable Donations

Last Month The Relay for Life - Clothing Fair was held in Second Life. Many Clothing Designers participated by either donating  their profits from the fair to the charity or offering an exclusive design with those profits donated.
Many of our merchants may not be aware of the advantages of Spilt Profits for such charitable events, so I thought I would provide a little information on this Feature and how it can be utilized.

I’ve added a tutorial to our Knowledge Base, which is located [here]. It will take you step by step through the process of setting up Spilt Profits.

In the event you’d wish to enable your sales to donate all profits or a percentage of the sale, the Split Profit Feature can be easily implemented to do so on any or all of your listings.

Scheduled Maintenance for Shop OnRez

This Thursday, 3/6/2008 from 8-9am EST, Shop OnRez will be going down for approximately 1 hour for database upgrades. During the outage, the website will be unavailable. In-world objects will have limited functionality. Vendors will be able to display items, but purchases will be disabled and payments will be automatically refunded. Dropboxes will be unable to submit changes.

Featured Listings Now on Shop OnRez

Shop OnRez now has featured listings, which allow sellers to promote their items at the top of keyword search results, at the top of category browsing, even on the Shop OnRez homepage! Sellers may also decorate their items with colorful borders to improve visibility.

When browsing or searching, featured listings will appear before all non-featured listings. They are rotated so that featured items all have equal opportunity to be the very top listing. We currently have listed some Shop OnRez items for demonstration purposes.

Featured listings options:

  • Category Placement, L$100 for 2 weeks
    Featured items are shown at the top of the results for the item’s category when results are sorted by Top Matches (the default).
  • Keyword Placement, L$100 for 2 weeks
    Featured items are show at the of search results for purchased keywords. Keywords are selected from an item’s tags.
  • Homepage Placement, L$500 for 2 weeks
    Featured items are shown on the front page of Shop OnRez. Listings are rotated so all featured items have equal opportunity to be displayed on the homepage.
  • Decorated Listings, L$20 for 2 weeks
    Decorations add a colorful border to a listing to attract attention. They do not affect the order in which an item is displayed.

To purchase featured listings, edit your items as normal and use the 2 new tabs: “[$] Listing Placement” and “[$] Decorate Listing”. Details about your listing’s performance are available from My Home->Seller Tools->My Featured and Decorated Listings.

Status: In-World Transfers

We have resolved the issue, which was interfering with our in-world transaction processes over the weekend, but are still experiencing delays in $L transfers due to the high volume of Holiday Shopping.

If you would like to submit a ticket you can do so at http://support.onrez.com. All deposits/withdrawls will reconcile as quickly our processors allow. Unfortunately, this could take several minutes to several hours. We understand this is an inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience.
